This Staff Report updates the Board that Ava’s required Integrated Resource Planning compliance analysis and filing was submitted to the California Public Utilities Commission on the required submission date.

Analysis and Context
On July 15, 2026 staff presented to Ava’s Board a summary of the analysis and materials required for submission to achieve compliance with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Integrated Resource Planning Proceeding.
All CPUC-jurisdictional load serving entities (LSEs) were required to file and serve their individual IRPs with the CPUC no later than August 10, 2026. The filings were required to include three documents provided by the CPUC: a Narrative Template, a Resource Data Template (RDT), and results from the CPUC’s Clean System Power (CSP) Calculator. Staff provided an overview of preliminary results of the analysis and the compliance documents in the Consent Item 13
July 15, 2026 Board meeting. Staff later presented an overview of the final compliance materials to an Ad Hoc committee of Board members shortly before the compliance submission was made.
Staff now provides to the Board the final compliance filing that was provided to the CPUC and includes the public links to the materials on Ava’s website as well as on the CPUC website which contains links to Ava’s filing as well as those of other jurisdictional LSEs.
