In July 2026, energy revenues were 1% higher than budget. The cost of energy was 7% below budget, driven by lower than projected market prices and the non-use of contingencies. Excluding contingencies, energy costs were 3% below budget.

Operating expenses were below budget for customer program incentives and for communications and marketing services. These funds are expected to be spent in future months.

Higher revenues and lower expenses resulted in a greater increase in the net position for July than budgeted.

CPA remains financially sound and in compliance with its bank and other credit covenants.
