Ratify Correction of Award Amount, Contract No. WD-2880R, Warehouse Office Suite Renovation, 1990 Newcomb Avenue, San Francisco, Award Amount of $1,338,039 Summary of
Proposed
Commission Action:

Ratify correction of the contract award amount for Contract No. WD-2880R, Warehouse Office Suite Renovation, 1990 Newcomb Avenue, San Francisco, under Resolution No. 21-0126, adopted by the Commission on August 10, 2021, from $1,328,039 to $1,338,039. The agenda item, award Resolution, and Contract Monitoring Division (CMD) memo incorrectly identified the total contract amount as $1,328,039, when the Bid Submittal and Bid Tabulation identified it correctly as $1,338,039.

Background: On August 10, 2021, by Resolution No. 21 -0126, this Commission awarded Contact No. WD-2880R to Galleria Inc., DBA Trico Construction.

After contract award, the parties discovered a discrepancy between the contract award amount specified in th e agenda item, a ward Resolution, and C MD memo in the amount of $1,328,039, and the contract amount specified in the Bid Submittal and Bid Tabulation in the amount of $1,338,039. The amount of $1,338,039 in the Bid Submittal and Bid Tabulation is the correct amount. The incorrect amount was a result of a clerical error in th e CMD memo and the correction of the clerical error did not affect the CMD’s findings. Staff confirms that Galleria Inc., DBA Trico Construction, was the low bidder.
