Description of Contract Work:
This contract is for Phase 3 of Project #10035575 San Joaquin Pipeline (SJPL) Valve and Safe Entry Improvements. It is to build a new surge tower to control the surge pressure in the SJPL system. The scope of work includes building new facilities such as 1) approximately 900 ft long 60- inch diameter steel pipe, 2) an approximately 65-ft tall surge tower, 3) a water recirculation system, 4) a gravel access road; and revamping the existing spillway and drainage culverts.
