BAWSCA Working for a Reliable Water Supply for Its Member Agencies and Their Water Customers
• BAWSCA Goal: A reliable supply of high-quality water at a fair price • BAWSCA agencies rely on water from San Francisco Regional Water System, which is provided in accordance with San Francisco’s existing obligations
 Legal obligations including the 184 mgd Supply Assurance  Contractual obligations including meeting Level of Service goals • BAWSCA region’s investments in water use efficiency are reducing water use today • BAWSCA and its member agencies are investing in potential new supplies throughout region • A voluntary agreement for T uolumne River offers a potential to address the needs of T uolumne River fish and water users as an alternative to the adopted Bay-Delta Plan • Water is too valuable to waste - continued wise use of water throughout region is important • BAWSCA and its member agencies actively engaged in several long-term planning studies, including with SFPUC
