Agreement Update
Present
ed here is the SuperGreen Multi-Year Service Agreement Annual Status Update. Commission Resolution 19-0083 directs staff to report annually on how many customers sign the CleanPowerSF SuperGreen Multi-Year Service Agreement, and how many customers terminate or otherwise withdraw from the Agreement.
The Sup
erGreen Multi-Year Service Agreement was developed for large commercial customers interested in signing a long-term agreement to receive 100% California Renewables Portfolio Standard–certified renewable energy service. By entering into this agreement, customers may be eligible for credits toward the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program and the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) Zero Carbon Certification.
Since the SuperGreen Multi-Year Service Agreement was first offered in April 2019, a total of 10 agreements have been signed. From April 2023 through May 2024, no customer actively cancelled an agreement, however, four agreements have expired with customers choosing not to renew. One new customer signed a Multi-Year SuperGreen Service Agreement. There are currently six active agreements.
