MEMORANDUM

To: Aileen Caylao, SFPUC
Jeremy Brooks, SFPUC
From: Jovi Cuntapay-Vitin, CMD
Subject: CMD Award Memo for WW-760 As-Needed Spot Sewer Replacement No. 46
The Contract Monitoring Division (“CMD”) has reviewed the bids submitted for the above referenced project, applied the appropriate bid discounts, and determined responsiveness to the Chapter 14B pre -award re quirements. The Micro/Small -LBE subcontracting participation requirement is 8% for this project. The LBE subcontractor participation requirement is set at under 20.00% in consideration that the project involves specialty work scopes, including but not limited to lining side sewers with UV Cured Liner and 12-inch, 15-inch, and 18-inch diameter main sewers with cured-in-place pipe liner (“CIPP”) and installation of HDPE for side sewers and the main sewer by trenchless pipe -bursting installation method. Additionally, this contract scope of work is almost identical to WW-748, which also had an established LBE requirement of 8%. Below is a summary of CMD’s review.
