Background: The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) Wastewater Enterprise (WWE) is responsible for maintaining sewers in a state of good repair. The WWE Collection System Division (CSD) has identified a critical need for cleaning services for large -diameter sewers ( defined as those

This contract will support WWE’s ongoing maintenance activities and ensure the continued efficient operation of the sewer system. WWE CSD staff will determine the specific locations and scope of large-diameter sewer cleaning work on an as-needed basis throughout the term of the contract.

Scope of Contract: The contract work is at various locations within the City and County of San Francisco, and at locations that would be determined by Wastewater Enterprise.

The contract work consists of:
• Mobilization and demobilization at each location;
• Traffic control;
• High-velocity, hydraulically-propelled cleaning;
• Debris removal: including handling, testing, transportation and disposal of collected debris to appropriate disposal site; and • Multi-sensor inspection of cleaned sewers.
