1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Jung called to order the Special Meeting of the Orange County Power Authority Board of Directors at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Director Castañeda led the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. ROLL CALL

5. CLOSED SESSION
Recess to Closed Session
At 1:03 p.m., Chair Jung called on Counsel Norvell to recess the Board to closed session.
General Counsel Norvell announced the Board was recessing to closed session. The following Board Members were present: Castañeda, Kim, Strickland, Treseder, and Jung.
Absent: Wagner.

At 1:35 p.m., the Special Meeting of the Orange County Power Authority reconvened with the following present: Directors Castañeda, Kim, Strickland, Treseder, and Jung.
General Counsel Norvell reported out of Closed Session that there was no reportable action taken. He further provided an update from the last Closed Session reporting that the Board had voted to appoint Joe Mosca, Director of Communications and External Affairs as the Interim CEO subject to the approval of an employment agreement at the next regular Board meeting.
6. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, Chair Jung adjourned the May 8, 2023, Orange County Power Authority Board Special meeting at 1:36 p.m.
