CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order at 10:03 a.m. in virtual teleconference.

David Mauro – Brown Act issue

Nelly – confirming late release of agenda packet.
Option for chair to adjourn the meeting. Concerned with Agenda Item Number 6. Some comments that do not believe are factual.
Jennifer Stalzer, calling into question the legality to upholding the meeting. Advise to adjourn the meeting and reconvene at another time.
Chair DeGolia asked if we discussed items without voting would the be a problem.
Jennifer Stalzer noted that the most conservative option would be to adjourn the meeting. If moving forward would not be able to vote on any matters on the agenda.

Legal benchmark would be a prejudice to members of the public or individuals viewing the agenda.
Nelly – items being discussed.
Director Medina clear to adjourn the meeting. Don’t believe the meeting needs to happen at this point. Provide proper notice in the future.
Director Mates agree to be on the safe side. Adjourn and reschedule.

Donna Colson, personally not available to meet until February 27 th

Jennifer Stalzer, agendizing a special meeting prior to board meeting in Feb.
Jan Pepper, CEO, can discuss DEAI at March EC. Discuss today and bring to March for further discussion?
Colson, better to not have discussion today.
Postpone to March EC meeting.
