I am hoping to attend by zoom this evening and, if so, I'll plan to make a comment like this during the public comments section at the beginning of the meeting, but sending this in case I can't My name is Eduardo Pelegri-Llopart. I am a resident of Menlo Park and a customer and a fan of PCE.
I strongly support, and appreciate, the work that Peninsula Clean Energy is doing towards accomplishing "100% Renewable Energy on An Annual Basis by 2030", with the goal of "24/7 Hourly Matching of Renewable Energy and Load".
The original target date of 2027 was a bright spot in the challenge of addressing our Climate crisis but I understand that the date needs to be adjusted to the reality of the energy market.
I appreciate all the updates on the energy generation side. I'm looking forward to learning what PCE and us, its customers, can do to adjust our consumption to help with the hourly matching goal. At a personal level, our almost fully electrified household has solar panels and we are waiting for the right time to add local storage to help with our load.
