Chief Executive Officer Communications
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eckert introduced Nick Yurashku, who recently joined Pioneer as the Manager of Quantitative Analysis & Modeling.

CEO Eckert also informed the Board that 8,989 customers will be receiving Net Energy Metering annual cash out checks totaling $1.2 million. Pioneer pays a premium half-cent over the PG&E rate; however, there have been some complaints about the cash out amounts being less than the previous year. The lower amount is due to the wholesale generation prices being higher in 2022 then coming down in 2023. CEO Eckert commended Customer Care Coordinator Nicole Sena for fielding these customer calls with no reported opt-outs.

CEO Eckert announced that just prior to this meeting, he had received word from the County Administrator of Sutter County regarding their readiness to join Pioneer and requested we proceed with the Impact Assessment Study.
