2 • In the April 28 BOD “Public Comments” presentation, four changes to the SDCP “Example Evaluation Summery” were recommended.
(Ref CAC presentation February 11, 2022, page 17)
• In the June 23 “Public Comments” presentation, it was shown that Solar Battery farms should have a much-reduced annual CO2 emission when compared to wind farms. This conclusion is pertinent to the above chart. • The release of the ‘Lithium-ion Car Battery Recycling Advisory Group Final Report’ means that planning to demonstrate the repurposing of EV batteries should begin.
• Will SDCP please provide some indication of when the above CAC chart will be updated and incorporated in the procurement process, and, • Will SDCP please provide a date for a “go forward” plan that includes demonstrating the repurposing of EV lithium-Ion batteries?
