Request for action on problem with $50 bill rebate to be considerd by board and staff ATTENTION: This message is from an external user. Confidential information such as social security, credit card bank routing, wire transfer and other personally identifiable information should not be transmitted to this user.
For questions, please contact the SVCE IT Department.
Regarding the $50 bill reduction program, I am pleased to see that SVCE acknowledges (Peyton Parks email Oct 23, 2025) that the $50 bill reduction program as carried out is of no use to those clients who spent considerable funds to invest in clean energy solar panels and who conserve energy daily and who can produce more enegy than they use. Given the above, SVCE is offering to have the $50 credit retracted from the reserve account and instead issuing a check for the $50 and recalculating the NEM escrow in a subsequent statement to those so affected. This is a fair and viable solution and well within the SVCE
objectives.
SVCE has the demonstrated means and information to do this for all overproducing customers and I request you begin this process as soon as practicable. I particularly hope that all board members in different geographical areas they represent will take the time and effort to check with those they represent to see if their residents are in favor of receiving a $50 check where applicable rather than a useless credit.
Andrea Pizano,
Please send these public comments for consideration under the provision of public comments on matters not listed on the agenda but within SVCE jurisdiction so the public tand all board members will have ample time to read them and please also send them to all staff that would be involved in fullfiling this request for $50 cash check payment in lieu of NEM credit for those producers whom SVCE acknowledges cannot benefit from the credit.
Please acknowledge receipt of this email and let me know to which parties (including staff) copies were sent, and let me know if there is a location on your website where this can be seen and considered and where I can view it.
Thank you for your prompt assistance with this matter of serious consequence to a large sector of your customers.
