This report summarizes the Community Advisory Committee’s meeting held in person and via Zoom webinar on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Thursday, June 25, 2026 Meeting:
A. Receipt of Board Staff Reports: the CAC received a copy of the Board’s Summer Preparedness outlook slides presentation and the Staff Report on the annual Load Management Standards (LMS) update.
B. Receive and review draft Integrated Resource (IRP) Plan update and see recommendation to the Board. (Discussion/Action) Staff provided highlights of the updates to the IRP Plan update. The CAC and Staff discussed items, such as: details of the Preferred Conforming Portfolio (PCP), Statewide resources, VCE’s load, power purchases, and modeling. The CAC passed a motion recommending that the Board approve the submission to the CPUC of VCE’s 2026 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). (6-0- 0)
The CAC’s July 23, 2026 meeting has been cancelled and the CAC has a scheduled meeting for Thursday, August 27, 2026.
