1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Naresh Solanki.
3. Roll Call
The following members of the City Council were in attendance:

The Mayor opened the public comments period. Seeing none, the Mayor declared the public comments period closed.

Bill Ihrke, City Attorney announced the City Council would recess to Closed Session to discuss Items 5A, 5B, and 5C as listed on the Closed Session agenda.

The City Council convened into Closed Session to discuss Item 5C as listed on the agenda.
Vida Barone, City Clerk/Treasurer announced that she had notified the City Council that she would be retiring from the City of Cerritos effective Friday, September 13, 2024. Items 5A and 5B were not discussed. There was no reportable action taken on any item and there was nothing further to report.
