MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CERRITOS CITY COUNCIL HELD MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2025, 6:00 PM, IN THE MAJESTIC ROOM AT THE CERRITOS SENIOR CENTER AT PAT NIXON PARK, 12340 SOUTH STREET, CERRITOS, CA 90703.
1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Pro Tem Chuong Vo.
3. Roll Call
The following members of the City Council/Successor Agency were in attendance:
Councilmember Bruce W. Barrows
Mayor Pro Tem Chuong Vo
Councilmembers Lynda P. Johnson and Frank Aurelio Yokoyama, and Mayor Naresh Solanki were noted absent for the record.
Due to lack of a quorum, none of the items listed below were considered. The meeting was adjourned at this juncture.
4. New and Old Business
4A. Review and consideration of ratification of the City Manager’s regulation to continue the proclamation of the existence of a local emergency concerning a gasoline leak from a privately owned existing pipeline on the Cerritos Iron-Wood Nine public golf course, and potential threat to the safety of persons and property requiring remediation, repair, and improvement of the public golf course and other City-owned public property, as specified (COUNCIL).
4B. Review and consideration of a study session of the Cerritos City Council reviewing proposed amendments to the City Council Protocol Manual (COUNCIL).
