MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CERRITOS CITY COUNCIL HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 26, 2025, 7 PM, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER AT CERRITOS CITY HALL, 18125 BLOOMFIELD AVENUE, CERRITOS, CALIFORNIA.
With the exception of Item 5, all agenda items were held concurrently with the Thursday, June 26, 2025, 7:00 p.m. City Council/Successor Agency Regular Meeting agenda.
1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. Invocation
The invocation was given by Pastor Rob Golding, First Christian Reformed Church.
3. Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by the 2025 BASES Program – Juarez Elementary School.
4. Roll Call
The following members of the City Council were in attendance:

5. Public Comments on the State of the City Address (Tuesday, June 24, 2025 Special Meeting Agenda Item 6)
The Mayor opened the public comments period.
Sam Desai expressed concern regarding various items related to the City budget.
Seeing no further speakers, the Mayor declared the public comments period closed.
6. Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 1:15 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025.
