ADJOURNED REGULAR CHICO CITY COUNCIL MEETING - July 9, 2024 Minutes
1. CALL TO ORDER AT 5:00 P.M. - Mayor Coolidge called the July 9, 2024 - Special Closed Session meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Due to it being a Closed Session, this meeting was not televised on Channel 11 nor live streamed on Granicus.

Absent: Tandon
2. SPECIAL AGENDA - Pursuant to Government Code § 54954.3(a), the City Council was prohibited by law from considering any other business at this meeting.
2.1. CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENTS OR COUNCIL DISQUALIFICATIONS Public Comment:
Addressing the Council were Julian Zener, Lymarie Gonzalez, Grace Marvin, Rob Berry, Robin McCollum, Justis Kusumoto, Katie Dahl, Florence, Eric Chisler, Monica McDaniel, Kendy Moa, Loree Monroe, and Charles Withuhn.
Council Disqualifications: None
2.2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION: Pursuant to Cal. Gov. Code Sec. 54956.9(a): USDC (ED) Case No. 2:21-cv-00640 - MCE-DMC: Warren v. Chico Closed Session Announcement - Following Closed Session, City Clerk Presson announced that Council met in Closed Session with staff regarding Warren v. the City of Chico. All six members were present, with it noted that Councilmember Tandon was absent from the meeting.
Council was briefed; direction was provided. No formal action was taken.
3. ADJOURNMENT - Adjourned at 5:48 p.m. to the City Council Closed Session meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., or 5:30 p.m. followed by the Adjourned Regular City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 421 Main Street, Chico.
