4.1. TITLE 18 SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - NOTICING RADIUS CORRECTIONS As part of the comprehensive Subdivision Ordinance Update, lot mergers, lot line adjustments and minor land divisions were mistakenly included in the 300-foot noticing list with parcel maps and tentative subdivision maps. Consistent with the previous subdivision ordinance and current practice, the intent was to keep the noticing radius for lot mergers, lot line adjustments and minor land divisions at 100 feet. The Planning Commission and Community Development Director are seeking City Council approval to correct the noticing radius to 100 feet. (Report Bruce Ambo, Principal Planner)
Mayor Coolidge opened the hearing to the public. No one spoke and the hearing was closed.
Recommendation : The Planning Commission and Community Development Director recommend that the City Council 1) hold a public hearing regarding the proposed Title 18 Subdivision Ordinance noticing radius corrections; 2) find that the Title 18 Subdivision Ordinance amendments are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Section 15061(B)3, and 3) introduce the following Ordinance by reading its title only:
