Instructions for using Zoom
• Join the meeting using the link above.
• You must have audio and microphone capabilities on the device you are using to join the meeting. • When you join the meeting make sure that you join the meeting with audio and follow the prompts to test your speaker & microphone prior to joining the meeting.
To speak on an item using Zoom
• The Mayor will call the item and staff will begin the staff report. • Click on the Raise Hand icon if you would like to speak on the item. The City Clerk will call your name when it’s your turn to speak.
• If you are participating via phone audio only you must press *9 to raise your hand • When your name is called, you will be prompted to unmute yourself. • If you are participating via phone only, you will press *6 to unmute. • When your time is up, you will be muted.
• You will repeat this process for each item you want to speak on.
Please Note: All Comments whether in person or virtual will be limited to 3 minutes or less pursuant to the Brown Act and depending on time constraints in the meeting.

2. SPECIAL AGENDA – Pursuant to Government Code § 54954.3(a), the City Council is prohibited by law from considering any other business at this meeting.
2.1. CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENTS OR COUNCIL DISQUALIFICATIONS
2.2. PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT: Pursuant to Cal. Gov. Code Sec. 54957(b). Title: City Manager Recruitment
3. ADJOURNMENT – Adjourn to the August 18, 2026 Closed Session meeting at 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. followed by the Regular meeting on Tuesday, August 18 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber, 421 Main Street, Chico.
