MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
The March 10, 2022, Special Meeting of the Chino City Council / Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency was called to order at 12:00 p.m. by Mayor Eunice M. Ulloa in the Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Eunice M. Ulloa, Mayor Pro Tem Marc Lucio, Council Members Karen C.
Comstock, Christopher Flores, and Walt Pocock.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Fred Galante read into the record the item listed on the Closed Session agenda.
1. PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.
Title: City Manager
CLOSED SESSION PUBLIC COMMENTS
There were no requests to speak.
The City Council recessed to Closed Session at 12:01 p.m. and concluded at 1:40 p.m. The City Council reconvened the meeting at 1:40 p.m.
REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Fred Galante reported that City Council held a discussion and took the following action:
Moved by Council Member Comstock, seconded by Council Member Flores, and carried on a 5-0 vote, to 1) appoint Anthony Arroyo, Director of Human Resources/Risk Management to act as Interim City Manager in addition to his current duties with details of the term of the appointment to be finalized by the City Attorney per City Council direction. The formal appointment would apply following the April 18th effective date of the City Manager's departure. 2) established an Ad Hoc Subcommittee of the City Council comprising of Mayor Ulloa and Mayor Pro Tem Lucio to coordinate the process for recruitment of the permanent city manager.

The meeting adjourned at 1:41 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of the City Council will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. (Closed Session at 6:00 p.m. if necessary) in these Council Chambers.
