RESOLUTION NO. 2024-034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHINO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY SCHEDULE TO CONFORM WITH THE CITY’S PERSONNEL RULES, P.O.S.T., AND RELATED MATTERS.
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 20636 and California Code of Regulations Section 570.5 outline certain requirements pertaining to employee compensation and related information that must be available for public viewing; and
WHEREAS, on Ju ne 18, 2024 , the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2024-030 reflecting changes arising from a cost-of-living adjustment for all non-sworn employees; and
WHEREAS, minor revisions are needed to Resolution No. 2024-030 since adoption, none of which affect salaries or changes in compensation; and
WHEREAS, the revisions reestablish the salary point at which an employee is noted as having achieved “Outstanding” performance; and
WHEREAS, the revisions will address the issues as noted at no cost to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the attached Classification and Compensation Schedule be adopted effective with the pay period that includes July 8, 2024 and the updated salary ranges will apply to staff employed with the City on the day following the adoption of the Resolution.
SECTION 2: That this resolution supersedes Resolution No. 2024- 030, which adopted the City’s Classification and Compensation Schedule.
