Yes No CHANGE ORDER NO.:This change reflects the cumulation of field verified changes to the bid quantities. Effect on operation and maintenance costs: Will proposed change alter the project scope?Effect of this change on project contractors?During pothole investigations of the street an 8 inch water main was ruptured at the intersection of Marigold Dr and Ramona Ave during the potholing process. The force of the water main break caused soil heaving and several inches of pavement uplift which needed to be replaced. Additionally, due to concerns with the condition of the aging water main crossing at Dahlia Road and Ramona Ave, the City requested from Hardy and Harper to replace a segment of 8 inch pipe. Lastly, at a community meeting held with the neighboring residents and businesses on July 18, 2024, homeowners brought up concerns about the noise of traffic and overall appearance of the roadway. To mitigate these concerns City staff has requested from Hardy and Harper to rehabilitate Ramona Ave pavement from Chino Ave to Schaefer Ave. Is proposed change an alternate bid? Will this change effect expiration or extent of coverage? If Yes, will the policies be extended?
