RESOLUTION NO. 2024-047
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHINO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF RESOLUTION NO. 2024-034 OF THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chino has the authority to create and maintain position classifications; and WHEREAS, greater flexibility is desired to meet changing conditions and better serve general organizational needs; and WHEREAS, the need to upgrade the position of Crime Prevention and Community Outreach Specialist to full-time in the Police Department has been identified; and WHEREAS, the need to upgrade the position of Human Resources Specialist I to Management Assistant in the Human Resources/Risk Management Department has been identified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
That Resolution No. 2024-034 of the City’s Classification and Salary Schedule is revised to upgrade the following approved, existing positions:
One (1) full-time Crime Prevention and Community Outreach Specialist position from the part-time equivalent position in the Police Department; and One (1) full-time Management Assistant position from a Human Resources Specialist I position in the Human Resources/Risk Management Department.
Except as so modified, Resolution No. 2024-034 shall remain unmodified and in full force and effect.
