MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
The January 14, 2025, Special Joint Meeting of the Chino City Council / Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency and Planning Commission was called to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
ROLL CALL – CITY COUNCIL
Present: Mayor Eunice M. Ulloa, Mayor Pro Tem Curtis Burton, Council Members Karen C. Comstock, Christopher Flores, and Marc Lucio.
Absent: None.
ROLL CALL – PLANNING COMMISSION
Present: Chairperson Jimmy Alexandris, Vice Chairperson Lissa Fraga, Commission Members Brandon Blanchard, Kevin Cisneroz, Steve Lewis, Lawrence Vieira.
Absent: Commissioner Vicent Lopez.
COMMUNITY SERVICES, PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION
A quorum of the Community Services, Parks, and Recreation Commissioners was not present. Vice Chairperson Neal Jerry and Commissioners Julissa Montenegro-Olivas and Linda Takeuchi were in attendance and participated in the training.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
There were no requests to speak.
TRAINING
HYPERLINK "https://chino.legistar.com/gateway.aspx?m=l&id=/matter.aspx%3Fkey%3D2235" \hWorkplace Violence Prevention Training. Presentation of Workplace Violence Prevention Training in accordance with SB 553, to enhance workplace safety and reduce the risk of violence (1 Hour).
Consultants Steven Wilmes and Matt Kieta conducted Workplace Violence Prevention Training.
A brief recess break was taken between the training sessions.
AB1234 Local Ethics Training. Presentation of Ethics and Public Service, the Laws and Principles of AB 1234, required training for local officials (2 Hours).
Fred Galante, City Attorney, conducted AB1234 Local Ethics Training.
ADJOURN
The Special Joint Meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
The next Regular Meeting of the City Council will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in these Council Chambers. The next Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in these Council Chambers.
