RESOLUTION NO. 2025-065
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHINO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2023-034 OF THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND SALARY SCHEDULE PERTAINING TO SALARY FOR CITY EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chino established compensation classifications represented by the Teamsters Local 1932 Professional, Technical and Clerical Unit (Teamsters); and WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 20636 and Title 2, Section 570.5, of the California Code of Regulations outline certain requirements as it pertains to employee compensation and related information that must be adopted by the City Council and made available for public viewing; and WHEREAS, the City Council is also adopting the Teamsters Memorandum of Understanding at this Council Meeting; and WHEREAS, the attached salary schedule for Teamsters reflects a three percent (3%) Cost of Living Adjustment and an additional fifty one cents ($0.51) per hour applied to the base wages/salary ranges of each classification represented by the Teamsters MOU negotiated as part of the Memorandum of Understanding effective the first full pay period after City Council approval; and WHEREAS, the attached salary schedule for Teamsters reflects a three percent (3%) Cost of Living Adjustment negotiated as part of the Memorandum of Understanding effective the beginning of the pay period including July 1, 2026; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the attached Classification Plans and Salary Schedules be adopted.
