To Whom It May Concern:
This letter serves as confirmation that the City of Chino is the exclusive provider of sanitary sewer services within the City's limits and Sphere of Influence (SOI). Property owners within the SOI may submit requests to connect their property to the City’s sewer system.
Following a review of the existing sewer infrastructure surrounding the property at 13252 Roswell Avenue, City staff determined that an 8” sewer line is situated on Roswell Avenue, directly adjacent to the property. Therefore, the City of Chino hereby issues this "Will Serve" letter, indicating the availability of sewer service for the existing single-family home, and the two proposed accessory dwelling units at the aforementioned address.
As a condition precedent to sewer connection, the Property Owner shall execute and record an Irrevocable Agreement to Annex in a form approved by the City. In addition, the City shall submit a formal application for annexation to the San Bernardino County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). The Property Owner shall be responsible for the payment of all applicable LAFCO and City application fees, which shall be remitted to the City prior to the commencement of the application process.
Furthermore, all development projects processed through the County of San Bernardino that request municipal utility connections within the City’s SOI are subject to the requirements set forth in City Council Resolution No. 2025-0212, which governs utility service eligibility and annexation conditions for properties located within the SOI.
