Storage Container
The City of Chino will use FY24
EMPG funds to purchase storage
containers to enhance its
emergency preparedness efforts
and create a cache of emergency
supplies. This cache may include
supplies for mass care, sheltering,
evacuation, and the Community
Emergency Response Team
(CERT). The storage container and
other emergency storage containers
will be located at the City of Chino
Public Works Service Yard. Adding
this container will allow the City to
expand its supply cache, improving
its ability to manage emergency
response functions, including
evacuation and sheltering. The
storage container will allow the
storage of items essential for mass
care, evacuation, and CERT
activities.
