RESOLUTION NO. 2026-028
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHINO, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE REVISED JOB CLASSIFICATIONS FOR HOUSING MANAGER AND ENGINEERING MANAGER WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No. 85-52, the City Council must formally adopt revised job classifications as part of the City’s Classification Plan; and WHEREAS, City staff, in collaboration with the Development Services and Public Works Departments, conducted a comprehensive review of the Housing Manager and Engineering Manager job classifications to ensure they accurately reflect current duties and responsibilities; and WHEREAS, this review resulted in updated job classifications for both the Housing Manager and Engineering Manager that align with the operational needs of their respective departments and clearly define current position responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHINO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves and adopts the revised job classifications for the Housing Manager and Engineering Manager, which are attached hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION 3.The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution effective May 19, 2026.
