CITY OF CHINO
PRÖCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting communities with a shared determination in the fight to end breast cancer; and
WHEREAS, funds raised through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer enable the American Cancer Society to save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research; providing free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer; and helping people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it is most likely treatable; and
WHEREAS, participants of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer join together to celebrate breast cancer survivors, pay tribute to those lost to the disease, and raise funds to end breast cancer once and for all.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EUNICE M. ULLOA, MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF CHINO, do hereby proclaim October 3, 2026 as:
"MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER DAY"
in the City of Chino and encourage citizens to help save lives from breast cancer by participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Inland Empire Walk at Chino City Hall on October 3, 2026.
