The City of Chino will utilize grant funding to purchase laptops for its EOC. The City's EOC is a "warm" EOC and therefore laptops are used because they are portable and easily stored for safe keeping. To maintain a constant state of readiness and be operational during a disaster, ten laptops have been identified as needing to be replaced due to age. Laptops are vital to the EOC and used to support and assist with coordination efforts. This allows for critical information to be organized and shared in a timely manner among the field.
