He expects to award a contract in November and will negotiate with contractor on a start date but he is looking at January of 2025 so that we do not create a construction zone during the holidays.

Public Works Director Bobadilla responded that like English Spring Road, there is a recycled waterline project on Eucalyptus, that it will connect adjacent to Community Park towards Chino Hills Parkway into Veterans Park and there will be rehabilitation of the entire road and new asphalt at that time. He added that they would have already taken care of the road if the project wasn’t in the works; however, the City doesn’t want to invest in repairing the road only to come back and tear it up and redo it all. The start date for the project will be in December of this year or January of 2025.
