This will install stormwater improvements on Sonoma from N. 5th St to 15th St. And finally, our contractor for Well 15 by the SR 99 Tank is currently mobilizing and setting up equipment, marking utilities and location of the well. Attended Chief's Conference in SLO where they discussed, among other things, AB 89 where it changes police department's hiring requirements of sworn officers, mandating a minimum hiring age of 25 and must possess a bachelor degree. These new requirements will shrink the hiring pool. This is why Measure N is so important, because as the years go on, they will have to get more creative as to how we recruit people with a 4-year degree and student loans to come into the law enforcement business.
