City Administrator Pruett reported that the Contract for Difference (CFD) bond sale was completed successfully on Friday. He explained that the bond issuance experienced a slight delay due to limited initial investor interest and the need for additional due diligence by another interested party. He noted that the bond issue was unique because it was a relatively small issuance with an 11-year term rather than the typical 30-year term, making it less attractive to some investors. Despite the delay, the financing was completed successfully, and final closing is expected by July 15, completing the overall process.
