NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
FOR THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
FEDERAL GRANT PROGRAMS
2022/23 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
The Annual Action Plan is a planning document which sets local strategies and funding priorities for use of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Home Investment Partnerships Act (HOME) programs. The Action Plan specifically describes how Chula Vista will spend federal resources over a one-year period for activities serving low/ moderate-income persons, the homeless, and persons with special needs.
The draft Action Plan will be available for public review and comment f rom April 8 through May 8 , 20 22 by accessing the City’s website at:

PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council will also conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 to further solicit input on the proposed Spending Plan. The Public Hearing will be held in Civic Center - City Hall, City Council Chambers located at 276 Fourth Avenue in Chula Vista.
Comments received through the Public Hearing and the review period will be incorporated into Action Plan, which will be submitted for approval to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The City, in complying with the Americans With Disabilities Act, requests individuals who require special accommodation to access, attend and/or participate in a City meeting, activity or service request such accommodation at least 48 hours in advance for meetings, and 5 days for scheduled services and activities.
