RESOLUTION OF THE CI TY COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF
CHULA VISTA GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO SAN DIEGO
GAS AND ELECTRIC TO PROVIDE UTILITY SERV ICES TO
THE NEW LOMA VERDE RECREATION CENTER
WHEREAS, the City is currently constructing a new recreation center at 1420 Loma Lane to replace the aging current recreation center at the same location; and
WHEREAS, as a part of the construction of the recreation center, it is necessary to install an electric service conduit over City’s real property; and
WHEREAS, said electric service conduit requires crossing a property line between City owned parcels and SDG&E has requested an easement for the installation and future maintenance of the conduit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that it approves the grant of an easement to SDG&E, in the form presented, with such minor modifications as may be required or approved by the City Attorney, and authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute the easement.
