Hi Dolores,
We are fixing up the fountain area. We have had a lot of issues keeping the fountain running because of the amount of debris that gets thrown in on a regular basis. We are putting decorative concrete around the fountain and redoing the surface so it can be swept and cleaned more efficiently.
Have you had a chance to look at the community stage in front of Speed Circuit? We are just finishing up on a few details and then we will open it up to the tenants and local community.
We are in the process of getting estimates for the festoon lights in your patio.
I will check with Marty about the hose bib.

We continue to push through, so can't complain. The new buildings look great! I have no problem with the name change and agree to it. Please keep me posted on timing so that we can make the changes as needed. Besides being a headache to make sure we update everything and ensure we send "address change" notices to everyone we work with including the
cities, state and counties, it should not be an issue.
On another note, can you please send info on the updates or beautification projects at The - District? Also, is there a way we can access water from time to time to water the planters outside in the patio? There used to be a hose bib, but we do not see that we have access to one anymore.
This was used for limited watering of the succulent planters which don't require excessive watering.

We have been working on a street name change for several months. The name would change from "Showroom Place" to "The District Place". The current name was put into place when my vision almost 20 years ago was for a 500,000 sqft furniture design district. That of course did not come to full fruition, and phase one was rebranded to recreational, entertainment and food/beverage. It was my intention to incorporate that disclosure in the lease but it slipped my mind.
I am notifying you now that we intent to finalize that process with the City of Chula Vista and would kindly ask for your cooperation.
