RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER’S
APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES – LAURA BLACK
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista’s Charter Section 500 (a) grants the City Manager the authority to appoint department heads subject to the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has selected Laura Black to fill the position of Director of Development Services effective October 21, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it ratifies the City Manager’s appointment of Laura Black to Director of Development Services effective October 21, 2022.
