RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 202 2/23
BUDGET DUE TO POSITION CHANGES, AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS ACCORDINGLY
WHEREAS, the City Charter states that at any meeting after the adoption of the budget, the City Council may amend or supplement the budget by a motion adopted by the affirmative votes of at least four members; and
WHEREAS, City staff has proposed numerous position changes, including with respect to certain positions funded by the Measure A Fund; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the proposed changes, staff is recommending $ 115,953 in expense appropriations in the Measure A Fund resulting in a negative net impact of $ 115,953 to the Measure A Fund from available fund balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it hereby amends the fiscal year 2022/23 budget and approves the following appropriations:
