Subject: Stop the power grab
The city council representative for district 3 should be chosen by the people, not political cronies. Stop the corruption. They just want to bring in somebody who will immediately be indebted to a small group of insiders who want to control our city government.
They chose Chula Vista since it is a " soft target," with a predominantly Hispanic working- class population. They would never try something like this in Coronado or Carlsbad.
Once somebody is appointed then they will be in government for life like Mary Salas and Steve Padilla, and pushing the most extreme policies that victimize our children like their drag queen story hour.
