RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA MAKING VARIOUS AMENDMENTS TO THE
FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 AND 2023-24 BUDGET FOR
APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR (4/5 VOTE REQUIRED)
WHEREAS, the City Charter states that at any meeting after the adoption of the budget, the City Council may amend or supplement the budget by a motion adopted by the affirmative votes of at least four members; and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending $83,000 in revenue and expenditure appropriations to the fiscal year 2022-23 General Fund budget in the Animal Services Department, resulting in no net impact to the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending $ 156,800 in revenue and expenditure appropriations to the fiscal year 20 23-24 General Fund budget in the Animal Services Department, resulting in no net impact to the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending a reduction of $122,153 in revenue and expenditure appropriations to the fiscal year 2023-24 Federal Grants Fund b udget for the Police Department, resulting in no net impact to the Federal Grants Fund; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it hereby amends the fiscal year 2022-23 budget and approves the following appropriations:
