Truth
This City Council has already been abundant in Deception and Corruption, but apparently they want Fraud! So how many drops of water worth of Fraudulent Emergencies does it take for people to stop believing in Lies of F.E.A.R. – False Evidence Appearing Real?

California Government Code section 8630 only allows local emergencies: “…When conditions of disaster or Extreme Peril to the safety of persons and property Exist…”

Just like with COVID, No such circumstance existed.

It’s Fraud that City Manager Maria Kachadoorian proclaimed a Local Emergency when the Mild storm was already over, and Fraud that this City Council is declaring an Emergency when it’s 100F outside!

On August 21st, the County’s Office of Emergency Services Director, Chris Heiser, admitted: “We said this was going to happen, and it Didn’t. … We never let up on the Perception that…the storm could turn. … So I thank…the Media for pushing it out.”

County Communications Director Michael Workman also admitted to the Voice Of San Diego that: “…We have not heard of much damage.”

Real Science: When a Tropical Storm wind speed is 74-95MPH, it will have Minimal damage at landfall. San Diego’s predicted speed was a measly 50MPH – which Didn’t Even Happen!

The only “hazard to health and human safety” is when Government denies Facts and resorts to Fraud in order to Collect Checks from the State and Federal Governments.

But how is a Hurricane formed? It’s the same as a Fraudulent Emergency – With tons of Hot Air!

PAUL HENKIN
The Storm was several days ago and generally milder than forecast. Here, we did not see damaging winds or floods. There was a lot of rain, but it has happened before without an emergency proclamation. So from my inland vantage point why am I the taxpayer being asked to support a more-or-less recurring event? By now you should have specific areas of concern and a rough draft estimate. Posting latter today or whenever is not good. We should sponsor a blank check for a situation which was nowhere near "extreme peril."

If conditions of extreme peril truly existed, the Board could have called an emergency meeting under the Brown Act. I see no reason for waiting to issue a non-specific declaration without publicizing a list of some or all actual damages.

Alot of this is because house insurers are fleeing the state because of the high costs. Glad you realized.

And BTW, in this time you could have done a sound and light show with hired mourners and raindrops falling on our heads if you really needed the money that bad!.

During an emergency in Chula Vista, CA, the Red Cross denied a citizen's attempt to correct a miscommunication about the status of a shelter. The Red Cross management refused to be filmed and called the local police to remove the resident, necessitating police mediation. This event signals the importance of accurate information dissemination and transparency during crises, especially when lives are at risk. As a leading humanitarian organization, the Red Cross must prioritize transparency, allowing the public to make informed decisions and ensure accurate information flow. The incident serves as a vital reminder for organizations to promote transparency and accurate information, underlining their primary role in safeguarding lives.
