I have heard that the Police these days often do not take reports of incidents they deem not serious. The Police are there to protect health & safety. They should have some record if only for history if the perpetrator in the future does something criminal (so that you can say he has a history) or if there is some pattern that might help solve other problems. My hope is that this grant can be used in part to help record minor incidents- perhaps staff a position to record these in a database.

Good evening, Ladies and Gentlemen of this Council.
As a veteran of 20 years with the US Navy, I thank you all for your proclamation making November as Veteran's Month.
However, as a prospective member of the Filipino-American Business Improvement And Development (FABID), I am outraged by the corruption of Andrea Cardenas. She has undermined all the efforts of FABID in trying to make our city a prosperous one by shutting down business not connected with her business network.
And as one trying to end the murder of our preborn Americans by abortion, I am also outraged at the purported ties of Andrea Cardenas with the Chula Vista Planned Parenthood which BTW kills an average of 1 baby a day and which, together with Cardenas' Cannabis Shops, were kept open during the plannedemic while all other businesses were shut down.
I demand therefore that Andrea Cardenas be ousted from this council.
J Florendo
Please address the charges against Councilmember Cardenas and your role in monitoring the circumstances that led to charges. The issue is that the fraud was obvious, public and wondering why you did not act.
Robert Johnson
YOU WASTE OUR TIME AND MONEY YOUR ALL TYRANTS WONT EVEN DO ANYTHING FOR THE PEOPLE CAUSE YOUR DOING THIS FOR YOURSELF.
Juan Celaya
I would like the city council and mayor of Chula Vista to consider a Procilmation to Jocelyn Celaya a resident of Chula Vista, small business owner and US Envoy of the Department of State for providing the monetary and economic policy framework that was deployed during Covid-19 for city and county governments to receive funding that was provided for the first time in American history and is now an official monetary policy tool for local governments worldwide to stimulate economic growth.
Thank you!
Elizabeth Schuette
November 11 is Veteran's Day, for 75 Years the Veteran Service Organizations (FRA, VFW, American Legion) of Chula Vista have held a Veteran's Day Ceremony at Memorial Park until this year, when the parks department allowedd ATT&T to secure the bowel for a corporate event. This is unacceptable! This is the one day of the year set aside for our Veterans. In 1918 on November 11 at 11:11 the guns fell silent; since then that time has been celebrated as Armistice day and later as Veteran's Day. I am requesting that the City of Chula Vista not allow any rental of the Bowel in Memorial park on November eleventh other than VFW, FRA, or American Legion; with the understanding that the VSO's will be utilizing the bowel for the Veteran's Day Ceremony honoring Chula Vista residents that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country . The responsible organization will still be responsible for providing required insurance information as well as any other requirements of the parks department. Further more I am requesting that the City of Chula Vista wave any fees associated with the rental of the Bowel at Memorial Park for this event in the future.
