RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER’S
APPOINTMENT OF MATTHEW LITTLE AS DEPUTY CITY
MANAGER/DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, the City of Chula Vista Charter Section 500 ( C) grants the City Manager the authority to appoint Assistant City Managers, Deputy City Managers and department heads, subject to ratification by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has selected current Director of Public Works Matthew Little to fill the position of Deputy City Manager/Director of Public Works effective July 12, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it ratifies the City Manager’s appointment of Matthew Little to Deputy City Manager/Director of Public Works effective July 12, 2024.
