RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
CENTRE FOR ORGANIZATION EFFECTIVENESS TO
COMPLETE A NEW CITYWIDE FIVE -YEAR STRATEGIC
PLAN
WHEREAS, the City last completed a citywide strategic plan in 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to complete a new, citywide five year strategic plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to procure these services, the Finance Department solicited proposals in accordance with City of Chula Vista Municipal Code Section 2.56.110; and
WHEREAS, the City received five proposals in response to the request for proposal P03- 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City’s selection committee completed its review of proposals and selected The Centre for Organization Effectiveness; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to contract with the Centre for Organization Effectiveness to complete City’s five year strategic plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it approves an agreement with The Centre for Organization Effectiveness for a citywide five year strategic plan, in the form presented, with such minor modifications as may be required or approved by the City Attorney, a copy of which shall be kept on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute same.
