Hear the presentation and provide feedback to staff, as appropriate.
DISCUSSION
In response to a City Council referral, a presentation will be given on the City’s existing board and commission appointment processes. The processes are fully described in Chula Vista Municipal Code (CVMC) 2.52.052.
The CVMC chapter (CVMC Chapters 2.26 – 2.65) for each board and commission specified which process(es) apply to its various seats.
The two attachments provide information about the appointment processes . Attachment 1 is organized by appointment process, describing each process and the number of board and commission seats that use the process. Attachment 2 is organized by board/commission, indicating the appointment process that applies to each seat.
