RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT 2025-2029 CITIZEN
PARTICIPATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA
WHEREAS, as a Department of Housing and Urban Development ( “HUD”) entitlement community, the City of Chula Vista receives grant funds under the Community Development Block Grant ( “CDBG”), the Home Investment Partnerships Program ( “HOME”), and the Emergency Solutions Grant Program(ESG); and
WHEREAS, as a recipient of these funds , the City is required to adopt a Citizen Participation Plan for the development of the 2025-2029 5-year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plans; and
WHEREAS, as required, staff has prepared the 2025-2029 Citizen Participation Plan prior to the development of the 2025-2029 5-Year Consolidated Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it approves the 2025-2029 Citizen Participation Plan as presented.
