RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING A CONTRACTOR/SERVICE
PROVIDER SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF CHULA VIS TA AND LOGICALIS, INC. TO PROVIDE
NETWORK DESIGN & BUILD FOR PROJECT GGV0274
WHEREAS, the City last completed a network hardware update in 2018; and
WHEREAS, the City has identified a critical need to enhance its network infrastructure and logical organization to support its operations and services effectively; and
WHEREAS, the City issued Request for Proposal (RFP) P35 -2024 for the purpose of soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to conduct a comprehensive assessment, design, and implementation of the City's network infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, in order to procure these services, the City solicited proposals in accordance with Chula Vista Municipal Code Section 2.56.080 for “Contracts for supplies, equipment, or services exceeding $100,000”, received three proposals, and selected Logicalis, Inc. as the most qualified amongst those submitting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a Contractor/Service Provider Services Agreement to Provide Network Design & Build, between the City and Logicalis , Inc., for Project GGV0274 in the form presented, with such minor modifications as may be required or approved by the City Attorney, a copy of which shall be kept on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
