RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING A LEGAL SERVICES
AGREEMENTS FOR HOUSING-RELATED LEGAL SERVICES
BETWEEN CITY AND CHRISTENSEN & SPATH, LLP
WHEREAS, City of Chula Vista recognizes and promotes the development of housing, including affordable housing, throughout the City; and
WHEREAS, the City’s Housing and Homeless Services Department oversees many of the Council-approved actions and policies to facilitate housing development; and
WHEREAS, as part of the City’s efforts to support the development of housing throughout the City, City has a continuing need for specialized, housing-related legal services provided by Christensen & Spath, LLP; and
WHEREAS, City desires to enter into a Lega l Services Agreement with Christensen & Spath, LLP to provide such housing-related legal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista, that it approves the Legal Services Agreement for housing-related legal services between the City and Christensen & Spath, LLP , in the form presented, with such minor modifications as may be required or approved by the City Attorney , a copy of which shall be kept on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and authorizes and directs the City Attorney to execute same.
